As promised here is a list of which author and book your children will be looking at during World Book Week in advance so you can start to think over half term about costumes etc for World Book Day (Thursday 5th March 2020). I know there always seems to be a lot of pressure to provide a costume but we truly love homemade creations that are recycled and that do not cost a lot of money.
We have chosen classic children’s literature so that it might be a book that your child has not come across before or an author which they have not had chance to fully delve into their literary repertoire yet.
Some class teachers might send out some additional information or ideas about costumes but pintrest is always brilliant and a quick google search will come up with a wealth of ideas and pictures of main characters from these books.
