What are Learning Champions?
Have you ever wondered what role the Learning Champions play in school?
Our Learning Champions are placed throughout the school from reception to Year 6 and work closely with the teachers and teaching assistants. They work and support all children in their class and in small groups. They don’t only support learning but also unpick misconceptions, move children on with their learning and close any gaps in their knowledge.
Our Learning Champion team consists of Ginny in Early Years and Gail supporting KS2 Maths.
Our Learning Champions also run some of our after school clubs. All our clubs are available to all pupils of all abilities and give the children opportunities to work alongside peers and make new friends from different years groups.
